A few interesting topics came up during the discussion. The two creators commented on the idea behind using the GamePad as the Camera Obscura and cut ideas, where Ayane’s inclusion came from, and the decision to make the first two chapters free in the west.

An art book based on Splatoon was recently made available in Japan. Through one of the images, we’re able to see what looks like urinal warp zones. It seems that, at one point, the developers thought about letting players transform into squids and use urinals/sinks to warp to different areas on the map.

Natsume’s next releases on the North American Wii U Virtual Console will be in 2016
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 7 Comments
Natsume won’t be bringing any additional titles to the North American Wii U Virtual Console this year. Instead, we’ll need to wait until 2016 for any additional titles. That means we won’t be seeing the likes of Medabots: Rokusho/Metabee and the two Medabots AX games until a couple of months from now at the very least.
Interacting with fans on Twitter, Natsume said:
@MrJonFaust Nope. 2016.
— Natsume Inc. (@Natsume_Inc) November 3, 2015
@SeafoamGaming @MrJonFaust The former has never been announced, the latter has never had a date, so…no, not delayed.

Medabots: Rokusho and Metabee have been available in Europe since October. The Medabots AX games are due out in the region this Thursday.
