Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection trailer

Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection has made it to Switch, and we have a new trailer to celebrate. This is a huge package containing 21 versions of six different games from the Wonder Boy series.

An eShop listing has revealed that publisher Astrolabe Games and developer Futu Studio are putting Souls of Chronos on Switch. While the game had been confirmed for consoles previously, specific platforms hadn’t been confirmed.

Souls of Chronos is a Japanese-style RPG with an action combat system. Further information can be found in the following overview:

Goonya Monster update 1.2.0

Mutan has come up with a notable update for Goonya Monster, and as of now, players can download version 1.2.0.

One of the major aspects is improved matchmaking, including the ability to keep teammates for the next match and match without a Monster player. That’s along with other adjustments and bug fixes.

Slopecrashers

byteparrot has confirmed that Slopecrashers, an arcade snowboard combat racer, is coming to Switch. The game is targeting release sometime in 2023.

Slopecrashers features a unique crew of animals that “band together in a world spanning tour to become pro snowboarders.” We have additional information below.

SpongeBob SquarePants Purple Lamp Studios

When you think of the bigger SpongeBob SquarePants games these days, Purple Lamp should come to mind. The studio worked on Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated in 2020, and is now about to release The Cosmic Shake just a couple of years later.

Despite having put out a pair of 3D platformers based on the franchise (though one was a remake) relatively close together, it sounds like the developer would like to continue working with the IP going forward. Andreas “AJ” Jarzabek, project manager, Purple Lamp Studios, told Nintendo Everything in a recent interview that it still has plenty of ideas left in the tank.
