Update: We’ve heard from Finji that the release date on the eShop is wrong, which was apparently the company’s fault. Night in the Woods will now release slightly later than expected on February 1.

Original: A few months ago, it was strongly suggested that the acclaimed adventure game Night in the Woods would eventually arrive on Switch. We now have confirmation that it’s happening.

A listing on the eShop shows that Night in the Woods is coming to Switch – and apparently very soon. Finji will apparently publish the game on January 18 for $19.99.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound will launch for Switch on February 13, according to a listing on the European eShop. That date has not been officially confirmed, but eShop pages have provided accurate information as of late.

The first entry in The Fall series made it to Wii U in 2014. This new game was originally planned for 2017, but was delayed back in October. A new release window of February 2018 had also been provided at the time.

We’ve included an overview and previous story trailer for The Fall Part 2: Unbound below.

Freedom Planet

Over the weekend, GalaxyTrail posted an image on Facebook hinting at a release of Freedom Planet on Switch. Some took that as confirmation that the game would be heading to Nintendo’s console at some point, but we’re not quite there… yet.

GalaxyTrail has now clarified that the image was a way of showing that the studio is aware of the huge amount of interest in Freedom Planet on Switch. The team is “currently exploring all of our options to offer you the game and the sequel on the Switch” – so there’s nothing official, yet.

Here’s the full statement:
