Yooka-Laylee will finally end up on Switch next week. And over in Europe, the game’s price point has been confirmed. The 3D platformer will cost €39.99 / £34.99, which should be $39.99.

Yooka-Laylee currently goes for the same amount on other digital marketplaces. The only tricky thing here is that physical copies on the likes of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One cost much less. As we know though, Yooka-Laylee has no physical version on Switch – at least for now.

Toydea published the 3DS game Dragon Fang last year in Japan. Switch is now getting its own title, Dragon Fang Z.

Dragon Fang Z is a rogue-like with dungeons that are randomly generated. When you die, your level and items are reset. Battles progress in a turn-based manner, and monster abilities can be used once defeated. Over 200 monsters are included in the game.

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from October 2017. You can watch it below.

Krafted Games has announced that its rogue-like first-person shooter Polygod is in the works for Switch. The title will be released in early 2018 via the eShop. It has already received a price point of $14.99 / €16.59 / £16.19.

Similar to the way in which Shiftlings was confirmed for Switch, we have news about another title from Rock Pocket Games heading to the console. The studio’s website shows that Starflux Rivals is also on the way.

Starflux Rivals is described as “a multiplayer competitive brawler” that takes inspiration from the likes of Smash Bros. and Worms. Gravity is the hook here, as it will pull you towards the nearest surface. That means fights can take place while walking upside down, and the game’s physics will allow you to orbit around the arena to surprise your opponents.

We have more information about Starflux Rivals below, along with a trailer.

Some may remember Shiftlings on the Wii U, a puzzle game about controlling two differently sized characters who are tethered together.

Well, Rock Pocket Games has added a little sentence to their game’s description online: “A Nintendo Switch version of the game is being released soon.”

More indie games are always welcome on the Switch. At the time of writing, any sort of release date has not yet been hinted at.
