We already knew that a demo of Oceanhorn was coming to Switch at some point in October. FDG Entertainment has now confirmed that the demo will be available this Thursday, October 12th.

Mantis Burn Racing

VooFoo Studios will soon be putting Mantis Burn Racing on Switch via the eShop. Take a look at some footage in the video below.

This week, Hamster published Metal Slug X as its latest NeoGeo release on Switch. You can watch a trailer for the game below.

System3 is bringing Super Putty Squad to Switch, according to a listing on Amazon UK. The retailer has a tentative release date up of December 1.

Putty Squad first appeared in 1994 on the SNES. A new version of the game also came out a few years ago on various platforms, including 3DS.

A demo for Spelunker Party! showed up on the Switch eShop today. Have a look at some footage from the download below.

Square Enix has published a demo for Spelunker Party! on the Switch eShop. You can find it in both North America and Europe. Simply boot up the eShop, visit the “Coming Soon” section, and visit the official game page. You should then see an option to download the demo.

The Spelunker Party! demo takes up 363MB of free space. Square Enix will release the full game on October 19.

Axiom Verge only just came out on Switch this past Thursday, but creator Tom Happ is pleased with how the game is doing so far. On launch day, Happ wrote on Twitter that it “seems to be selling quite well”. That’s in spite of the fact that other high-quality titles debuted on the store, including Stardew Valley and Oxenfree.

Golf Story has an interesting connection to the real world that some may not have known about. This pertains to the latter section of the game, so potential spoilers ahead.

Thanks to the European Switch eShop, next week’s NeoGeo game on Switch has been confirmed. The King of Fighters series is expanding once more with The King of Fighters ’95.

Here’s an overview from the eShop listing:

The King of Fighters ’95 is a fighting game released by SNK in 1995. In addition to the character of popular work such as Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting in the sequel title of the previous work KOF ’94, Yagamian will participate as the rival of the main character Kyo Kusanagi. With the team edit function installed, it became possible to form a team with the player’s favorite character.

The King of Fighters ’95 is due out on October 12. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.
