Indie World Showcase

Today’s Indie World Showcase is set to begin in an hour. The broadcast kicks off at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe. You can watch the event as it happens below.

Nintendo says that that Indie World Showcase will run for about 20 minutes with news regarding various games for Switch. We’ll have coverage during and after the show.

Barry the Bunny

Ratalakia Games and lightUP today announced that Barry the Bunny, a 2D platformer, will be appearing on Switch this week. The game is lined up for an August 13 launch.

This week, Hamster is bringing Kuri Kinton as the latest entry to the Switch’s Arcade Archives library, the company has confirmed. A worldwide release is planned for August 12.

Kuri Kinton is a side-scrolling beat em’ up released by Taito in 1988. In this game, players control a Chinese policeman and fight various enemies across several levels, including 5 bosses and sub-bosses.

Arcade Archives Kuri Kinton will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.
