Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space and Earth Defense Force 2017 coming to Switch in Japan

Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space will be arriving for Switch on July 15 in Japan for 3,980 yen, and Earth Defense Force 2017 will follow this fall, D3 Publisher and developer Sandlot have announced via Weekly Famitsu. Both titles will have similar specs to the PS Vita versions, and would have been followed by a port of SIMPLE 2000 Series Vol. 31: THE Earth Defense Force, but difficulties arose during development and the project was abandoned. A Western release has not been announced for the games at this time.
Clannad Side Stories confirmed for Switch in the west

Back in February, Clannad Side Stories was announced for Switch in Japan. It follows the original Clannad that released on the console around two or so years ago.
Fans will be happy to hear that Clannad Side Stories will also be offered on Switch in the west. A listing has popped up on the eShop, confirming plans for North America and Europe.

Samurai Shodown – Hibiki Takane DLC footage

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity shipments and digital sales surpass 3.7 million copies, Atelier Ryza 2 at 360,000 units

As part of Koei Tecmo’s latest financial report, the company provided the latest sales update on Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Between shipments and digital sales, the title has surpassed 3.7 million copies worldwide.
The same report also provides a similar figure for Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. That title’s combined shipments and digital sales are now beyond 360,000 units.
