Kevin Afghani has come forward as the new voice of Mario, confirming that he’s handling the character in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. He will also be playing Luigi.

Yesterday, rumors swirled that Mick Wingert would be taking over the role after a store demo for the game was datamined. However, while his representative confirmed his involvement, we also received confirmation that he wouldn’t be playing Mario.

Otogi Katsugeki Mameda no Bakeru: Oracle Saitarou no Sainan!! Japan

Original (8/31): Otogi Katsugeki Mameda no Bakeru: Oracle Saitarou no Sainan!! now has a release date – at least in Japan. The Switch game is on track to launch on November 30, 2023 in Japan.

You may recall that Otogi Katsugeki Mameda no Bakeru: Oracle Saitarou no Sainan!! was announced during the latest Japanese Nintendo Direct. It’s made by Good Feel, the team behind Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Yoshi’s Woolly World, and Yoshi’s Crafted World.

Crymachina demo

Crymachina is just on the horizon, and a new trailer for the game has just been released. Switch owners in North America and Europe can download it now.

The demo should let fans try out some early parts oft he game. It follows NIS America’s other Switch demos in that if you play the trial, save data can be transferred to the full release. 

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Lucy Loud

Just in time for Halloween comes the latest Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 spotlight trailer, which shows off Lucy Loud and her moveset.

While she retains some of her moves like teleportation for strong mobility, she has new moves as well. A big aspect is that the character can use the power of the occult to enhance her abilities. Her down special lets her move between her normal, ghost, and vampire forms. The ghost form is lighter, but is more mobile. Her vampire form has slower movement speed but stronger attacks. In Lucy’s normal form, she’s an all-arounder that’s also a little heavier.

Super Bomberman R 2 update 1.2.2

Konami is back with a new update for Super Bomberman R 2, bringing the game up to version 1.2.2.

A number of adjustments are included. These include the selection of battle rules in Graded Match, the increase of Gems earned in Battle Offline from 50 to 100, and more.

Original: The new Mario voice actor in Super Mario Bros. Wonder may have been discovered stemming from a new datamine. Nintendo said players would be able to find out who’s taken on the role from Charles Martinet when the game launches, but we seemingly won’t need to wait another week.

The game itself isn’t out yet, so you might be curious as to how a datamine could already exist. As it turns out, someone has managed to get their hands on the demo that recently popped up in stores across the country.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC 2024

Original (10/11): A big update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been announced for imminent release, and even more DLC is confirmed to be dropping in 2024. This comes as the game celebrates its seventh anniversary this year.

The new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update is planned for October 12. It will include the Festival of Universes event, “Cross Versus” Battle Mode, Awoken Skill Ultra Instinct, Avatar Level Cap Unlock, and feature improvements.
