Square Enix has readied a new update for The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story, bringing it to version 1.0.3.

A couple of improvements are included – specifically for one of the tutorials and content of the notes in Chapter 5. New control features, adjustments, and fixes are also available.

The full patch notes for the new 1.0.3 update for The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story are as follows:

Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise director Yasunori Ichinose recently sat down with Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream to share some tidbits about the game’s development. The game actually began its development back on the 3DS, with a small team experimenting with modifications to Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.

The same part of the discussion also gives insight into how the situation with COVID impacted development.

Below are a translation of Ichinose’s comments from the interview:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Cowabunga Collection online play

You could really make the case that Konami and Digital Eclipse went all out with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection between all of the different games included, support for online play, tons of behind-the-scenes content, and more. However, on the topic of online, not all titles have the functionality – only a few do.

Konami producer Charles Murakami recently explained to Nintendo Everything how it was decided which games in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. Here’s what he said on that front:

Splatoon 3 is the next big Switch game from Nintendo and is just a couple of weeks away. Most have likely made a decision as to whether they’ll be picking it up in September. However, there is also the Splatfest demo happening right now that gives players a bit of a preview of what they can expect from the final game.

Some have argued that Splatoon 3 doesn’t feel new enough, but many fans are very happy with how it’s been looking. What side of the fence do you sit on? Are you planning on buying Splatoon 3 next month? Let us know in the comments.

Splatoon 3 pre-order bonus

With Splatoon 3 set to arrive on Switch soon, now’s as good a time as any for us to publish our pre-order guide the game, which will contain information about many major retailer reservations as well as any bonuses that are announced.

As the name implies, Splatoon 3 is the third major entry in the series and the second title on Switch. Many elements are returning like Turf War and Salmon Run, though there’ll be new stages and bosses. Also, an entirely new story mode is planned where players can discover the secrets of Alterna, the Fuzzy Ooze, and how they connect to the mode’s theme, “Return of the Mammalians”.

WRC Generations

WRC Generations was announced earlier this year, but there was no sign of the racer ending up on Switch. However, publisher Nacon has now confirmed plans to release a version for Nintendo’s console – it’ll just be released sometime after the initial launch, which is set for October 13.

According to Nacon, “WRC Generations celebrates the arrival of a new generation of hybrid cars and the new racing thrills they bring, as well as a brand-new Leagues mode that matches players against others of a similar level.” The game is said to be “the most advanced title in the series and has the largest selection of cars, rallies and special stages ever included in a video game.”
