Just like in Europe, Buddy & Me Dream Edition is coming to North America next week. Sunbreak Games plans to have it ready on July 21.
It’ll offer the following:
– Unlock 3 new Seasons, each with new Landmarks to discover
– Enjoy Buddy’s constant companionship and help
– Collect stars to take flight, and bunnies for more time
– Upgraded graphics for high resolution TV!
– 18 unlockable Outfits to customize your character!

A special Nindies panel was held at BitSummit in Japan last week. Takuya Aizu from Inti Creates (Azure Striker Gunvolt), Ian Flood from Yacht Club Games (Shovel Knight), and Rhodri Broadbent from Dakko Dakko (Scram Kitty) were in attendance. We have a full recording of the event below.

New Earthlock trailer, Wii U version happening “as soon as possible” after initial September release

SnowCastle Games has finally finished work on Earthlock: Festival of Magic. The initial release will be taking place in September, with the Wii U version following “as soon as possible after that”.

Jewel Quest hitting the European Wii U eShop next Thursday

Jewel Quest is already available in North America. For those in Europe, the game will be out next Thursday.
Here’s an overview:
“Jewel Quest for Wii U brings the classic Match-3 puzzle game to life in stunning HD! Solve 72 challenging puzzles through 6 fantastic, beautifully-rendered locations, each with its own unique, orchestral background music. A pair of titles have been dated for the European Wii U eShop. First is the arcade / puzzle / action game from Joindots, Dragon Skills. It’ll be out on July 28 for €7.99.

Joindots will have another title out in Europe on August 11: Master of Death. The adventure / puzzle game will also cost €7.99.
