Freedom Planet hitting the North American Wii U eShop on Thursday

Freedom Planet has been given a new release date once again. Following several delays, the title is now expected this week.
Developer Stephen DiDuro took to GalaxyTrail’s Twitter account and informed fans that Freedom Planet is launching on October 1. Here’s the official message:

The Deer God hitting the Wii U eShop in December

The Deer God finally has a release window on Wii U. Mobot Studios, who will be publishing the game on Nintendo’s console, just announced a December launch for the eShop version.

Starwhal made its way to the North American Wii U eShop this past Thursday. In case you’re curious, the game’s download is 591MB. That is reduced to 559MB once actually installed.
