Wii U is one of a number of platforms Hanakai Studio hopes to create its new project Prodigy for. PC is the only confirmed system at present, but the team is developing in Unreal in order to make a multiplatform release possible.

Hanakai’s Kickstarter for Prodigy states:

Beside PC/Windows, we hope to develop Prodigy for Mac, Linux, PS3, xBox360, PS4, xBoxOne and WiiU. Our current focus is on PC, but we are developing with Unreal 4 to make it possible to port to other platforms in the future.

Prodigy sounds neat, as the RPG combines figurines with video games. It’d be interesting if the game could take advantage of Wii U’s NFC features somehow…

You can check out Prodigy on Kickstarter here.

It goes without saying that Cult County will make use of the GamePad. Renegade Kid also has plans to support a Wiimote / nunchuck option.

That’s not all though. Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham said in a Reddit AMA that the team will explore all control methods on Wii U, “and if they feel good we’ll include them.”

If you haven’t already, you can check out Cult County on Kickstarter here.

Game Atelier has launched its Kickstarter for Flying Hamster II. You can check out the campaign here with more details about the project.

Flying Hamster II will need to raise $150,000 in order to secure funding. Wii U and 3DS stretch goal amounts haven’t been determined yet, but it seems that they’ll be set past $350,000.

BLOK DROP U sales have seen a huge increase following a discount launched on the eShop yesterday. According to developer RCMADAIX, the game has seen a 1,105 percent increase over last Thursday.

The developer wrote on Twitter:

BLOK DROP U wasn’t all that pricey to begin with, coming in at $2. Guess more people decided to jump in at $1 though!
