Wii U eShop

Korean indie developer Turtle Cream has announced “6180 the moon” for Wii U. The game will be available on the eShop this summer.

6180 the moon is a platformer that previously landed on PC. In the game, the top and bottom of the screen are connected so that players can jump over the screen and come out of the bottom (and vice versa).

You can check out 6180 the moon in action above.

EnjoyUp has made Abyss on Wii U official with a newly-released announcement. You can find details about the game as well as screenshots.

It turns out that DrinkBox is not directly involved with the creation of Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition on Wii U. Instead, Chasing Aurora developer Broken Rules is handling the port.

TreeFall Studios has temporarily put “Forbidden Sanctity” on hold. But in the meantime, the developer has launched an Indiegogo campaign for “The Letter”, a potential new exclusive for the Wii U eShop.

Below is an official overview of the title:

This game is a exploration and narrative based horror game for the Nintendo Wii U. Michael Kennedy is a young boy who receives a letter from his father who recently took an “off the books” construction job in a strange valley down the road from their Mountain Home. In the letter the father explains that he is probably already dead by the time his son receives the letter. Michael has no idea what is going on with this new construction team or this hidden valley, but he loves his father and will do anything to try to save him.

You can find The Letter on Indiegogo here. The campaign is seeking $5,000 in funding.

Bear Box Media has confirmed its new indie title for the Wii U eShop, “Internal Invasion”. The 2D physics platformer is currently being made with Construct 2.

Bear Box Media’s Andy Ford provided us with the following overview of Internal Invasion:

Regarding Internal Invasion, it is a 2D physics based platformer where players control a character through an organism with the goal to locate the cause of a virus and put a stop to it. Players do not have full control over the character, however, and must launch him from cannon to cannon, keeping in mind that he can only survive outside of these devices for mere seconds. To assist them, players can collect pills that will give them the ability to steer the character’s path.

To get the best score on each level (of which there are 50) players must not only use the fewest number of cannon launches, but must also beat the game’s ‘par’ time for each level.

Tomorrow’s North American Virtual Console releases have likely been confirmed through listings on Nintendo’s website.

On Wii U, the eShop appears to be getting NES Open Tournament Golf. Adventure Island II looks to be on track for 3DS.

We’ll find out if Nintendo’s listings are accurate tomorrow.
