The latest round of Nintendo maintenance will be taking place on Thursday. According to a page on the company’s website, the Wii U and 3DS eShops are both expected to be affected. The maintenance period will take place between 1 PM PT and 5 PM PT.

It’s also worth mentioning that Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will be seeing their own round of downtime. Maintenance for the two games is set to occur at 5 PM PT on Monday, lasting through 7 AM PT the following day. Online play, rankings, and other online elements may be affected.

RCMADIAX just released its first Wii U eShop game – BLOK DROP U – on Thursday. But as we’ve known, the indie developer also has more titles in the works such as Super Robo Mouse.

Earlier today, RCMADIAX shared a new screenshot from the game on Twitter. The developer also confirmed plans for a tentative June launch.

Robot Knight has shown some interest in releasing Wind-up Knight on Wii U and 3DS.

One fan asked the studio on Twitter if it has any plans to release the game on Nintendo’s platforms. Robot Knight would “love to do it,” though no commitment was made.

Fuzzy Wuzzy Games’ Armillo has been delayed. The game, originally slated for March 24, is now moving back to May 12.

With the extra time, Fuzzy Wuzzy will enhance the quality of some of Armillo’s levels. Audio/visuals will also be polished, and any remaining bugs/issues will be addressed.

Two Tribes’ next Wii U release will include multiplayer, the studio has confirmed. One user will experience the action on the GamePad, while the other will play with a Wiimote on the TV.

The company didn’t state this explicitly, but Two Tribes is likely referring to its next “classic” game for the eShop.

According to a tweet from Ripstone, Pure Chess has now been approved by Nintendo. Release date news is expected for both Wii U and 3DS sometime next week.

A new rating for Pac-Land has appeared on the OFLC. The listing likely pertains to a future re-release on the Virtual Console. OFLC doesn’t specify any platform, so it could be for the Wii U, 3DS, or both systems.
