LEGO Star Wars: Episode 7 is in development, a leak from Amazon Italy reveals. The game is listed for several platforms – including Wii U and 3DS – with a tentative May 31 release date. It may feature the final title something along the lines of “LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.

Amazon’s listing indicates that the game will take players through the story of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with LEGO’s signature humor. New content bridging the gap between Episode VI Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens will also be included. A (very) rough translation mentions something about multi-buildings/construction and battles with the blaster.

“The best-selling LEGO video game franchise makes its triumphant return with an action-packed and humor journey based on the blockbuster movie. The game will also feature exclusive playable content that bridge the gap between the story of Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Play as Rey, Finn, Poe, BB-8, Kylo Ren, Han Solo and many others in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens! LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens introduces Multi-constructions and battles with Blaster universe of LEGO videogames. With Multi-buildings, use LEGO bricks available to open new paths, and then break them ricostruiscili to open others! During the battles with Blaster, use the environment as protection to address the First Order.”

It’s likely that we’ll be officially hearing about LEGO Star Wars: Episode 7 as early as tomorrow. Warner Bros. has been sending out emails to members of the media teasing “a massive announcement” regarding “two of the world’s most popular entertainment brands.”
