Dragon Quest Builders 2 getting “Japanese-Style Pack” DLC in late February in Japan

The first paid piece of DLC for Dragon Quest Builders 2, the “Japanese-Style Pack”, will be available in late February in Japan. This DLC pack was initially scheduled to launch in April, but Square Enix seemingly moved the launch forward a bit. It’ll cost 700 Yen and feature various classic Japanese-inspired items and materials such as lanterns, wall scrolls, futons and more. Square Enix will show off the DLC in more detail in a live stream which will take on February 13 at 9PM JST on their Youtube channel.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 has been out since December 20 last year in Japan. It’ll launch sometime this year in the West. It’s not clear yet how Square Enix will handle DLC packs such as this one for the Western release.

The game will be out in Japan on April 18. A Western release has not yet been announced.

Our World is Ended opening movie

The developer Neos has announced that a new Sanrio game — titled Puru-Chara Friends: Hoppe-chan to Sanrio Characters — is heading to Switch on April 25th in Japan.
Gematsu has gone through the trouble of translating the retail overview for the game. It can be viewed below, along with a couple early screenshots.

Skybound Games and Beamdog have announced a partnership that will see the release of several classic roleplaying titles on Switch. Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate ll, Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, Neverwinter Night will all be released on Switch this year.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 update adds new playgrounds, players, and more

2K and Saber Interactive have introduced a new update for NBA 2K Playgrounds 2. The game has received the 2019 NBA All-Star playground in Charlotte and a special Valentine’s Day playground in addition to new cosmetic outfit items themed around both playgrounds and dozens of new players to unlock.
