Japan is joining North America and Europe with a new Splatfest in Splatoon 2. However, their theme will be quite different.

Japan’s next Splatfest is food-related, pitting Tsubuan and Koshian up against each other. These are two types of pastes made of red beans. Tsubuan is mostly standard, but Koshian removes bean skins.

The next Japanese Splatfest kicks off on September 23.

Takara Tomy has posted the first screenshot of Zoids Wild, the new title in development for Switch. We have the image above.

Nintendo has announced the next Splatfest for Splatoon 2. In both North America and Europe, the theme is “Retro vs. Modern”.

The new Splatfest will be held next weekend. Note that this will be the first event with the recently-announced rule changes.

Square Enix is bringing Final Fantasy to Switch in a big way over the next several months. Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD is out now, World of Final Fantasy Maxima is following in November, and we’re getting a ton of games next year – including Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.

Amazon has added in a listing for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, which comes with the boxart shown above. It also confirms a price point of $49.99. The RPG is also coming to Xbox One and costs the same amount, so there won’t be a price hike for the Switch version fortunately.

Amazon has updated its listing for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Special Edition with the official packaging. We have it above.

Of course, the image isn’t 100% complete. Isabelle is missing from the side of the packaging… and how many more characters will fit in there? Fans will no doubt be speculating about that until the full roster is revealed.

An exclusive demo for Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk is now available on Switch, NIS America has announced. All progress can be transferred to the full version.
