Mega Man 11

Recently, Famitsu published a big interview with a couple of the developers working on Mega Man 11. The Japanese magazine caught up with producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya and director Koji Oda.

There was a lot of interesting discussion in the lengthy interview. Tsuchiya and Oda went in-depth on how it went about bringing back the series, why the team opted for a more 3D look, the Double Gear system, different difficulty options, and more. There’s also a bit of talk about the future and other topics like the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2.

During a panel at Anime Expo 2018 today, Aksys Games made several announcements. One of these is that Death Mark is seeing localization and will be released in the west.

Experience developed Death Mark, a horror adventure game. The Switch version is based on the original PS Vita version with all content plus an additional episode.

Though we don’t have a release date, Aksys said at its panel that the title is “coming soon”.

At Anime Expo 2018 yesterday, Lab Zero Games announced that Skullgirls 2nd Encore is coming to Switch. We now have a new trailer below.

As shown at the end of the video, a physical version of Skullgirls 2nd Encore on Switch is planned. No word yet on a release date just yet.

With each new Pokemon game, there tends to be an official guide. That will again be the case with Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee.

Sonic Mania Plus

SEGA today published the first video in its two-part Sonic Mania Plus developer diary series, which we have below. Kazuyuki Hoshino (Sonic Team creative director) and Tom Fry (Sonic Mania Plus art director) cover additions coming to the game, including newly added features, playable characters, and collectible packaging. Tom also talks about the backstory behind the creation of Sonic Mania Plus and the working relationship between him, Hoshino and Sonic Team.

At Japan Expo earlier today, producer Masashi Takahashi and composer Yasunori Nishiki stopped by for a special session. Four new jobs were revealed at the event.
