Splatoon’s final Splatfest is coming up and Nintendo are celebrating it in a variety of ways. European Wii U owners will soon be able to prove whether or not they’re as good as Callie and Marie. Wii Karaoke U, a karaoke game that’s free to download on the European Wii U eShop, will add three Squid Sisters songs on July 28th: “City of Colour”, “Ink Me Up” and “Calamari Inkantation”.

If you don’t want to pay actual money to try to your hand at these songs, remember that you can get a 1 hour Wii Karaoke U ticket on My Nintendo for 100 Platinum Points once per month.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is finally arriving on the North American Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow, Nintendo’s website reveals. The game will be sold for $7.99.

Here’s an overview:

“A mysterious enemy named Smithy has appeared, forcing Mario and Bowser to fight as allies. Journey across a wide variety of locations and tackle a mixture of obstacles that will require both timing and strategy to overcome. Gain experience, grow more powerful, and meet new characters to use their abilities in taking down Smithy and his gang!”

It’s been a fairly long wait for Super Mario RPG in the states. Japan has had the game since last August, while it released in PAL regions last December.

A brand new trailer has come online for Nefarious. We’ve included it below.

4colorrebellion also spoke with Josh Hano, creator of the project. Hano shared an update on the Wii U version, telling the site:

That’s a tricky question to answer at the moment. Namely due to Nintendo’s lotcheck process, something I’ve seen other game devs go through. Even with a complete game, it can take some time to get Mario’s nod of approval. But I can say we do have our Wii U dev kit fired up and ready to go. We’ll likely dedicate a few updates entirely to that process. Fortunately our team has gone through the process before with Tadpole Treble so we know what to expect.

Ziggurat will be arriving on the European Wii U eShop tomorrow, and North America soon after that. Get another look at the game in the video below.

It was announced today that Road Redemption has now sold over 100,000 copies. But in the same note, it was stated the team is reevaluating Wii U support “in light of the upcoming Nintendo NX.”

Road Redemption was confirmed for Wii U back in 2013. But earlier this year, DarkSeas cast doubt about an eShop release happening. The developer later said that it was “still actively pursuing Wii U development,” though today’s news makes the situation unclear once again.

EnjoyUp Games is giving the racing genre another shot on Wii U. The company is bringing over Grand Prix Rock ‘N Racing, a game that “gives you the fastest, most exciting races.” Players are able to evolve their car as well as improve the engine, brakes, tires, and more in hopes of winning the championship.

Races themselves take place on a variety of tracks with ten opponents. EnjoyUp Games promises realistic driving physics and multiplayer support for up to four players. Additionally, an online leaderboard will be included so that you can compare times with friends and others around the world.

Here’s a look at the game from its original release:
