Limited Run Games will be creating a physical release for the Switch version of A Boy and His Blob, the company announced today.

Two versions are planned – standard and a Deluxe Edition. With the Deluxe Edition, buyers will receive a physical copy of the game, soundtrack, 18″ x 24″ reversible poster, and dust sleeve.

Cloud Gardens was originally set to hit Switch in just a couple of days, but Coatsink and Noio have now announced a last-minute delay for the game.

It’s said that the title had to be pushed back as a result of a “minor backend issue”. The announcement reiterated that this is “minor”, so it shouldn’t be a long delay. Still, a new date can’t be announced just yet.

Thanks to fan support with a Kickstarter campaign, the inventory management roguelike Backpack Hero will be made for Switch.

Jaspel went to the crowdfunding site not too long ago to raise enough funds for the project. Despite seeking $20,000, the campaign closed with well over $200,000. Various stretch goals were reached, including one specifically for Switch. Jaspel is also planning a few more characters, Creative Mode, and more.
