Dragon Ball: The Breakers is doing something quite different for the franchise since it has you playing as “Survivors” like Bulma and Oolong or the “Raiders”, which include Cell, Frieza, and Kid Buu. Typically the Dragon Ball titles we’ve seen recap the series in an arena brawler or RPG format. The Breakers, however, is an asymmetrical action game where the Raiders try to hunt down the Survivors.

With such a different take on Dragon Ball games, it’s perhaps not a surprise that there was some uncertainty within the team initially. Producer Ryosuke Hara said in a recent interview that “the point was raised that fans might not want to play as comparatively weak characters like Bulma or Oolong.” In the end though, everyone “came around to liking the idea and gave us the go-ahead.”

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope producer Xavier Manzanares has commented on the game’s characters, and the decision to leave out Yoshi.

Mario, Peach, and Luigi are all playable just like in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Yoshi is absent, however, and Manzanares has commented on how the roster was ultimately set.

A new patch for Aerial Knight’s Never Yield made been made available on Switch, which is “Da Update” (version 1.1.1).

Lots of improvements are included based on feedback. The update adds new bonus levels, new music, a brand new endless mode, and the introduction of leaderboards to allow you to compete for high scores. There are also level and story updates aimed at adding refinement such as a new post-credits ending.

Another update is ready to go for MLB The Show 22, with Switch players now having access to version 1.11.

There are a few elements here such as the addition of the Nike City Connect San Diego Padres uniforms, play-by-play commentary adjustments, and more.

We have the full patch notes for the MLB The Show 22 1.11 update below.

Something Nintendo originally said would be possible with the Wii U was using two GamePads at a time. Unfortunately, that only ended up being an idea since we never actually saw it implemented with any type of game or experience.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has now offered insight as to why we never saw the use of dual GamePads. Speaking with MinnMax, he pointed to the fact that Wii U had a low install base and Nintendo was never able to move forward with a game that would justify such an experience.

Earlier this year, it was announced that a new Nendoroid was in production based on Thanatos from Hades. Good Smile has now followed up with additional information, including a release date.

Thanatos comes with two face plates. Along with a standard face, a smiling face is included as well. Buyers will also receive optional parts, including a scythe, the Pierced Butterfly keepsake, and Mort. It measures roughly 100mm in height and is sculpted by POLY-TOYS.

Ratalaika Games and Diedemor Studio are putting Road of Death on Switch today, the companies have announced. The game, a 2D shooter with elements of survival and rogue-like, can be bought as a digital title.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will include both English and Japanese voices together for its release, Nintendo and Monolith Soft have confirmed. That means dual audio is supported right out of the gate. Players won’t need to go through an extra download in order to access the Japanese voice cast.

With Xenoblade Chronicles 2, things were handled a bit differently. Nintendo distributed version 1.1 after launch and players then needed to download the free Japanese-Voice Pack DLC. They could then choose between English and Japanese voices in the settings.
