Atari, Adamvision Studios, and SneakyBox have determined a final release date for Yars: RechargedThe redone version of the classic title will be hitting Switch on August 23, 2022.

Yars: Recharged was only just announced this month. As part of the reveal, we only had a vague 2022 release window.

Avenging Spirit has released today on Switch eShop, and publisher Ratalaika Games have released a launch trailer of the 1991 arcade game. Originally created by Jaleco, it is described as a two-player platform arcade ‘rough house’ in which you play as a man who was killed by a crime syndicate and has returned as a ghost to rescue his girlfriend and seek revenge.

After many delays, Digimon Survive finally sees a release on Switch today, and the first 26 minutes of the tactical RPG/visual novel hybrid are available to view.

After a slight delay the demo for SD Gundam Battle Alliance, Bandai Namco’s upcoming action RPG, has been released, and the company have also released a trailer to promote the title. Any progress made in the demo can be carried over to the full version of the game when it releases next month on August 25.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has finally released worldwide on Switch, and a launch trailer has been shared to celebrate the game’s release, giving players another look at the game’s cast of characters and gameplay.

Subset Games has just put out a new update for Into the Breach, bumping the game up to version 1.2.75. This update doesn’t add any new features, but it’s fixing a few major critical bugs and crash scenarios, along with addressing a whole bunch of small bugs and issues the game has had.

Dungeon Munchies has been on Switch since the end of last year, but the game just added new content with a third and final chapter. It can be accessed today after installing a new update.

The chapter contains new monsters, ingredients, recipes, and legendary weapons. Players will have the chance to take on “three powerful bosses, cook up seven fresh dishes, and learn the truth behind the dungeon and even the protagonist’s existence”. Adding to the fun are “kooky characters and unexpected revelations.”

Kemco and Hit-Point are bringing Gale of Windoria to Switch next week, according to an eShop listing. The RPG will be available on August 4, 2022.
