We now have the official June 2024 Nintendo Direct recap announcement straight from Nintendo following the conclusion of the presentation. The company is going over all of the news from today’s show, which includes a bunch of different announcements for Switch.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, a long-awaited update was finally provided on Metroid Prime 4, which now has the Beyond subtitle. The game will be launching in 2025.
To say that it’s been a long wait for Metroid Prime 4 has been an understatement. Nintendo unveiled the project in June 2017, but announced in January 2019 that the entire project was being rebooted with Retro Studios – the series’ original developer – taking over. Little information has been shared since, but we did at least get Metroid Prime Remastered last year.
Square Enix is working on a new Romancing SaGa remake, and has announced Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. Switch will be getting it on October 24, 2024.
Romancing SaGa 2 originally came out in 1993. This new version of the RPG has been fully realized in 3D and HD, and has updated elements such as improved gameplay.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy was announced for Switch from the creators of Danganronpa. The game is set for release in 2025.

Another Ace Attorney collection is happening, as today Capcom unveiled that Switch is getting Ace Attorney Investigations Collection. This one is due out on September 6, 2024.
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth originally released on DS in 2009 in Japan and 2010 in the west. It was soon followed by a sequel, but unfortunately, that one never saw an English release.

A Switch version of Stray is in development, Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studio just revealed. The port launches in Winter 2024.

Just Dance 2025 Edition is heading to Switch, Ubisoft announced during today’s Nintendo Direct. It’s releasing this October.

Nintendo has announced the new Switch Lite Hyrule Edition. This will be available on September 26, 2024.
The Switch Lite Hyrule Edition comes in celebration of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, which was just revealed today. We have more information about it here.

2D Zelda is back on Switch, and Nintendo has now announced The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
This time around, Zelda takes the starring role. The game maintains the style found in the Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake.

There’s yet another Mario Party game in the works for Switch, and Nintendo just announced Super Mario Party Jamboree. Fans will be able to pick it up on October 17, 2024.
Super Mario Party Jamboree has a lot to look forward to, including seven game boards – five new and two returning. That’s along with 110 minigames, Koopathlon mode supporting up to 20 players, and more.
