The patch notes have been shared for a new Disney Dreamlight Valley February 2024 update going out this week.

As previously mentioned, the game is getting new content from Monsters Inc. with The Laugh Floor. There’s plenty of other elements to the update though including new avatar customization items, expanded Scrooge McDuck’s Shop, and more.

Here’s the full rundown:

February 21: Miraidon is joining Pokemon Unite as the game’s next playable character, The Pokemon Company and Timi Studio Group have announced. The reveal was shared in celebration of the upcoming Pokemon Day.

Speaking of Pokemon Day, that’s actually when Miraidon will be going live. The character will be playable starting on February 27, 2024. No further information has been provided.

Scopely is bringing its popular battle royale game Stumble Guys to Switch, the company just announced. The company did not provide a release window.

Stumble Guys will feature cross-play and cross-progression when it comes to Switch. As for the actual game, we have some information in the following overview:

Publisher Abylight Studios and SciFun Games have announced Exographer, a new Metroidvania game for Switch. It’s targeting a 2024 launch.

Exographer, a 2D adventure based on science, has players following INI on a rescue mission on a stranded planet. Players will look to “find clues of an extinct civilization, use their technology, and discover the origin of the absurd matter invading six different atmospheres.”

The Switch version of Rainbow Moon now has a release date. Today, publisher Eastasiasoft announced that it will be available on March 15, 2024.

On the same day, the Rainbow Moon + Rainbow Skies Strategy RPG Bundle is launching. This includes the upcoming title and the already-released Rainbow Skies.

Publisher Ratalaika Games and the two-manned indie developer Stately Snail are bringing One More Dungeon 2 to Switch this week, both sides announced today. This follows the original game that launched on the platform in 2017.

One More Dungeon 2 is a first-person dungeon crawler roguelike that promises to be “bigger, vastly improved, and dramatically challenge intensive” compared to the previous title. More information can be found in the following overview:

Epic Mickey director Warren Spector says he would love to develop Epic Mickey 3. However, don’t expect it anytime soon.

Spector was asked about the possibility on LinkedIn. Despite having a “high level idea” in mind for a new game, he’s currently busy at his current studio OtherSide and projects going on there. Spector noted: “I’d love to do Epic Mickey 3 but I have a day job that would make that impossible.”

Original: Brazilian journalist Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe has claimed that Switch 2 will be launching in 2025. That was shared during the latest OX do Controle podcast, which is based on what he’s heard from five sources.

If true, that would fly in the face of other rumors reported last year. It was previously claimed by other outlets that Nintendo’s next system would be launching in 2024.

Today, publisher Mebius and developer RS34 announced the new Switch title Illvelo Swamp Happy Together. A release is planned for the latter half of 2024 in Japan.

Illvelo Swamp Happy Together is based on Illvelo Swamp (Illmatic Envelop Swamp). This is the first “alternate version” of an RS34 shoot ’em up game.
