Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on its platforms for the week of January 18, 2024. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:

According to a report from GamesIndustry, Nintendo has been exploring partnerships with new studios that will make games based on its IPs.

This in itself is nothing new. Nintendo’s partnerships with third-parties have been ongoing for many years such as MercurySteam taking on 2D Metroid, WayForward handling the Advance Wars remakes for Switch, and even lending the Zelda IP to Brace Yourself Games for Cadence of Hyrule. However, GamesIndustry reports that three studios are now “deep in conversation around making games based on Nintendo brands.”
