This month’s issue of Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream contains the results of a popularity survey for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, with fans asked to vote on their favorite characters. We have the results for the top twenty.

74.7 percent of voters were actually female, 19.9 percent were male, and 5.4 identified as other. Those between the ages of 26 to 30 percent made up 23.3 of voters, followed by 21 to 25 at 20.9 percent, 31 to 35 at 19.8 percent, 16 to 20 at 17 percent, 15 and below at 11.4 percent, and 7.6 percent other.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom just celebrated its first anniversary. In honor of the milestone, Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream caught up with series producer Eiji Aonuma and Hidemaro Fujibayashi, and both of them shared special messages.

Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley doesn’t have a physical release in the west currently, but a boxed version will be distributed in Japan.

Kakehashi Games intends to distribute the title in the region. Japanese will be included in the cartridge, but English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Portuguese will be as well. Any Switch owner should be able to play the game on their system regardless of region.

Today, Poink Games announced that it’s putting Felbound on Switch. We’ll be seeing it on the system after the PC launch in Spring 2025.

Felbound is a roguelike game focusing on action, and it’s said to be “challenging and ruthless”. You’ll be setting off into a mysterious dungeon while battling orcs and goblins with various weapons spells and items.

Anxious Noob’s upcoming project Bean Beasts will be released on Switch, the studio announced today. The title launches on the console in early 2025.

Bean Beasts is a tower defense game featuring evolving creatures, upgrade paths, enemy pathing and boss encounters. Players will take on hordes of monsters throughout the experience.

The next update for Fire Emblem Heroes, version 8.6.0, has now been announced.

The update comes with some of the typical additions such as new weapon skills and weapons as well as New Memento Events in Heroes Journey. Also worth noting that the game is seeing a bug fix involving Summoner Duels Captain Skill Heavy Burden.
