2K has officially announced NBA 2K20, which will be released on Switch like the past few entries. The game will launch worldwide on September 6.
Anthony Davis, a six-time NBA All-Star, three-time All-NBA First Team, three-time NBA All-Defensive Team, and 2012 Olympic gold medalist, will be appearing on the cover of the standard and deluxe editions. Three-time NBA Champion, 13-time NBA All-Star, 2008 Olympic gold medalist, and 2006 NBA Finals MVP Dwyane Wade will be featured on the Legend Edition cover.

Koei Tecmo and Gust announced today that they will be showing off live gameplay for Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout on July 9 at 9 PM JST during a livestream. Bookmark this Youtube link to watch it live next week. Several key figures involved with the game will be present during this stream, including Ryza’s voice actress Yuri Noguchi, character designer Toridamono and the game’s producer, Junzou Hosoi.
Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 29 in North America and on November 1 in Europe.
Nintendo announced today that the next online competition event for Tetris 99 (known as the Grand Prix or Maximus Cup, depending on your region) will be Splatoon-themed to celebrate the final Splatfest taking place soon in Splatoon 2. At the moment, this event has only been announced for Japan, so it’s not known yet if this competition will also have a Splatoon theme in Europe and North America. At any rate, the Japanese event will take place from 4 PM JST on July 12 till 4 PM JST on July 16. During the event, all matches will have a special Splatoon theme applied to them. Players who get at least 100 points during the event will receive that Splatoon theme and can use it in regular games after the event has finished.
The next Spirit Board event in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be all about Splatoon. This is to celebrate the final Splatfest in Splatoon 2 taking place soon. The Spirit Board event will take place at the end of next week, starting on Friday, July 12. As per usual, various Spirits from the Splatoon series will appear and beating them will net you more SP than usual.
The previously announced Headband Brawl Voting Gauntlet is now live in Fire Emblem Heroes. As a reminder, here are the first-round matchups:

Also, since it’s the start of a new month, new sets of quests for July have gone live. As per usual, they require you to defeat a variety of enemies, clear specific chapters, use specific characters and clear Training Tower stages to earn rewards.

Today’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses character introduction is Tomas. He’s the academy’s librarian, a position he’s held for over 40 years. As such, he is pretty knowledgeable. He’s also a devoted follower of the church of Seiros. He’s voiced by Shinya Fukumatsu.
