Over on its Japanese Instagram page, Nintendo has given a new look at Super Mario Maker 2 with the latest trailer of sorts that shows Mario’s evolution through the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras. We’ve attached the video below.

Darkwood will be available for Switch on May 16, according to a listing on the eShop. The top-down survival horror title was confirmed for Nintendo’s console last month.

As previously announced, Dry Bones has been added to Mario Tennis Aces as the game’s latest playable character. See him in action below.

Cygames has confirmed that they have reset the limits on certain redeemable rewards in the Void Battles Treasure Trade.

Those who have already redeemed the maximum number of rewards through the trade system ma now start trading for them once again, as the limit has been reset for the new month.

Nintendo has announced the latest Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event. This week, the theme is “Tall Tails” where spirits with long tails will be appearing. If you defeat them, you can earn more SP than usual.

The Spirit Board event should kick off on Friday. Like past events, look for it to last a few days.

One of the things Hob: The Definitive Edition players initially expressed some frustration over when the game launched on Switch a few weeks ago was the resolution. In handheld mode, things just weren’t all that crisp.

With a new version 1.1.1 patch issued today, this has now been addressed. Panic Button says handheld mode image quality was a “top priority” and calls it a “huge step forward.” On top of that, the patch “contains a handful of other fixes and improvements.”
