While we’re still waiting to find out when exactly Mary Skelter 2 will be out in the west, the game has been dated for Switch in Japan. Compile Heart will release the title on August 22.

Fans will be able to purchase a physical copy for 7,776 yen or the digital version for 6,912 yen. A limited edition will also be sold for 10,476 yen. The package includes a set of nine clear cards, a booklet (with art materials and special words by Yomoji Otono), and a 21-track original soundtrack CD. Those who pre-order Mary Skelter 2 will receive an illustration card with a download code for “Jailbreak Support Materials,” which includes access to special equipment and item sets that will help the player out in the game.

More than a year later, Mario Tennis Aces is still introducing new characters. The latest roster addition is Fire Piranha Plant, who is joining the game in June. You can unlock the character immediately by participating in the June tournament.

Granzella recently announced R-Type Final 2, a follow-up to Irem’s horizontal shooter that originally released on the PlayStation 2 back in 2003. Switch wasn’t originally a part of the plan, but about fielding feedback from fans, the new R-Type will now be included as a target platform.

XSEED Games announced today that Gal Metal will be receiving its next batch of DLC next week. Bonus Tracks Vol. 2 goes live on June 6, the company has confirmed.

The latest songs include Ready Set Türkiye, Into the 4D!, WoO! WoW! WoO!, Spring Strings, and Apocalypse of Blood and Virtue. Players will be able to access the full set for free as an extra download.
