Going back to the days of the Wii U, Nintendo and PlatinumGames have maintained a strong relationship. The two sides have partnered on Bayonetta, The Wonderful 101, Star Fox Zero, and Astral Chain.

Speaking about Platinum’s relationship with Nintendo in an interview with VGC, studio head Atsushi Inaba noted:

For The King will be available for Switch starting tomorrow. For a look at the strategic RPG, check out the gameplay below.

Developer 3DClouds has announced that a new update for the Switch version of Xenon Racer has gone live. Version 1.0.4 is available, feautring a number of improvements.

First, Xenon Racer’s performance has improved. Other fixes have been implemented, and the AI has been tuned.

3DClouds says that it will have free content for Xenon Racer “soon”.

Numizmatic recently released a big Crook’d Captain update for Light Fingers. Following up on that, a new 1.0.5 patch has started distribution.

According to Numizmatic, the latest update “squashes some bugs that were found with the newly added dungeon tips, which would sometimes cause an error in the game, as well as the bounty hunter, who was sometimes causing the game to not save correctly when hired to chase after players.”

Light Fingers is having a week-long sale for 25% starting today.

If listings from retailers are any indication, Switch could be getting another Digimon game. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory has been listed by the system by Fnac and Game.es.

Both listings are no longer live. That being said, a placeholder boxart is still located on Game.es’ server, which you can see below.

Update (5/8): A near identical patch is now live for Oniken as well, which also has screen size/ratio options (Full 16:9 / Window 4:3).

The Game Kitchen’s psychological horror point-and-click adventure game The Last Door is coming to Switch, publisher Plug In Digital has announced. It will be released on the eShop this month as The Last Door: Complete Edition.

While Plug In Digital doesn’t make this entirely clear, Complete Edition appears to include both seasons of The Last Door with all content. Here’s the rundown on both plus trailers:
