We have the official July 2025 Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase live stream posted here ahead of the big event. Nintendo is kicking off the broadcast at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe. The video will be about 25 minutes long.
Remember that this event is focusing on games from Nintendo’s partners. That means the presentation should be primarily about third-parties – don’t expect to see the next big Zelda title here.
Feral Interactive unveiled its latest Nintendo Switch port today, which is Hitman: Absolution. A release is planned for late 2025.
Hitman: Absolution first debuted in 2012 and has not landed on a Nintendo platform previously. Feral says the game will have native Nintendo Switch 2 support in 2026.

The version 1.5.0 update for Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark has just been released. A future update for online multiplayer has also been announced for Fall 2025.
Inti Creates had previously announced that they would be supporting Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark with four monthly updates starting in April. Version 1.5.0 is the was supposed to be the last bringing online multiplayer, but that functionality has been delayed.

CFK has just announced that they will be bringing Nightmare: The Lunatic to Switch. The game is set for December 12, 2025 with a physical release in Japan.
Nightmare: The Lunatic is an action rogue-lite in which you swap weapons, parry, and you special attacks to escape a Nightmare. Developed by Maetdol Games, it originally released on Steam in 2024.

Most Pokemon games tend to have pre-order bonuses, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A is no stranger to that. Retailers are now starting to come forward with different items that it’ll have on hand, and we’ll be rounding up everything in this post.
As a reminder, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the second “Legends” game following Arceus. This time around, we’re visiting the main setting of Pokemon X and Y, which is Lumiose City. Players can choose Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile as their first partner Pokemon and head off on a journey in which they’ll visit all manner of sights in the streets arrayed around Prism Tower, including shops, restaurants, and places called wild zones. Mega Evolutions are also back and are introducing new transformations, including Mega Dragonite.

For the story video, we have a look at some of the mysterious enemies, supporting characters, and stylish action-combat against monsters and Arsenals that players will experience. As for the particle weapon Combat Support System, this is a preinstalled modification for Arsenal body armor providing Outers with powerful particle armaments. The three basic systems include Assault Shift (AS), which automatically targets and shoots enemies, Guard Shift (GS), offering a directional shield that nullifies attacks, and Wing Shift (WS), giving players the ability to fly at high speeds. Players can use these particle armaments through the limited resource known as Femto, giving Outers a powerful temporary boost to be used strategically.
WayForward just came through with a release date for Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution, and we also have news about a Deluxe Edition.
The game is coming digitally to Nintendo Switch on August 19, 2025. With the Deluxe Edition, fans will receive three exclusive costumes (not sold separately) that change Shantae’s appearance and enhance her abilities: the Relic Hunter Costume powers up Pike Ball attacks, the High Voltage Costume powers up Storm Puff attacks, and the Sizzle Armor Costume powers up Fireball attacks.
In parntership with Destructive Creations, RedDeerGames has announced a Nintendo Switch version of War Mongrels. The game arrives on August 14, 2025.
War Mongrels, an isometric real-time tactics game, is set on the eastern front of World War II. Players will experience the turmoil of decisive events on the Eastern Front.

Today, Blowfish Studios and Indiesruption set the release date for Vlad Circus: Curse of Asmodeus on Nintendo Switch. The title launches on August 25, 2025.
