Pato Box is one of the weirdest games I’ve played in recent memory. On the surface, it almost looks like it has some sort of fusion between Punch Out!! and Sin City sprinkled with Hotline Miami, but once the game begins and gameplay actually starts, you begin to notice a shift in tone, progression, and even genre going from section to section. It’s a unique experience that may not be for everyone, but should be commended for blending tons of styles and creating something as goofy as it is intriguing.

The latest Tempest Trials+ is now live in Fire Emblem Heroes, titled Sweet Dreams.

During the event, players can obtain Marth: Enigmatic Blade and two Sacred Seals, Flashing Blade 1 and Spd Ploy 1. Clear maps to raise your score and earn rewards. By completing daily quests, you can receive Refining Stones.

Also, the number of rewards for daily quests during the second half of the event has been increased. To earn all rewards, log in each day and play three times.

Just prior to the launch of Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, Japanese magazine Famitsu spoke with a couple of the game’s developers. Producer Hitoshi Yamagami and director Kaori Ando were both brought in for the discussion. Yamagami previously worked on the likes of Dr. Mario, Panel de Pon (referenced in the interview), and Fire Emblem while Ando has been involved with Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (also brought up in the interview).

The talk was very interesting, as we’re able to learn how Nintendo came up with the concept for Sushi Striker and how the project turned out the way it did in the end. The original plan was for something quite different, and various genres were considered.

Three more villagers have been added to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Players can now come across Julian, Pekoe and Boone.

Julian features the unlockable item carriage while Pekoe has mama panda. Boone’s unlockable item is the sandbag.

Koei Tecmo issued a teaser trailer for Atelier Rorona DX, Atelier Totori DX, and Atelier Meruru DX. Get a look at the video below.

Nintendo’s maintenance for next week has started to populate. Thus far, Wii U and 3DS will be impacted during one session, while the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls will be affected a bit later on.

Here’s the schedule as it stands right now:

Chicken Assassin: Reloaded has received an official page on the North American eShop. The game is scheduled for July 19, with Akupara Games handling publishing.

Chicken Assassin: Reloaded features fast paced action-RPG gameplay with an over-the-top storyline. Players will take on the role of Mean Mcallister, who sets out on a journey to save his girlfriend.

We found out a couple of days ago that Devolver Digital is publishing Not a Hero: Super Snazzy Edition on Switch next month. Before that, the company will also be bringing over Crossing Souls.

Here’s an overview for the action-adventure game, along with a trailer:

During an interview last month, GameDaily spoke with Nintendo of America head of sales and marketing Doug Bowser. A number of topics were discussed, including Switch’s audience.

According to Bowser, the system has a “broad” demographic. While games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild and mature titles “skew a bit older,” Nintendo has also seen titles including Kirby Star Allies and Splatoon 2 appealing to a younger segment. A wide array of players are also experiencing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
