A major update has just come to Windjammers 2, with the game adding Jamma GX03 and Anna Szalinski as playable characters plus new modes, cross-play, and more.

How To Play and Practice modes are now available on Switch. And aside from cross-play, the game has received lobbies. 

Here’s some additional information:

ININ Games, Strictly Limited Games, and Tozai Games today announced Irem Collection Volume 3. Switch will be getting the package in Q2 2024.

Irem Collection Volume 3 includes Mr. Heli, Mystic Riders, and Dragon Breed. The shoot ’em up games will have a quick save and load feature, built-in features, new integrated help functions such as rewind and fast-forward, and worldwide leaderboards.

Publisher Brave Yourself Games and developer Rocket Rat Games will soon be bringing Cobalt Core to Switch, the two sides have announced. The title is slated for November 8, 2023.

Cobalt Core is officially described as “a sci-fi roguelike deckbuilder with a deep new single-axis spin on tactics games”. Learn more about it in the following overiew:

Pillars of Dust is heading to Switch next week, publisher Something Classic Games and developer Retreaux Games have announced. It will be available on October 16, 2023.

Pillars of Dust, a retro-style RPG, will come to Switch with “a fresh coat of paint”. The game has “a chicken nugget based currency, two main heroes with intersecting plots, and a unique exploration based leveling system”.

Hamster has announced Gattan Gotton as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. A worldwide release is planned for October 12, 2023.

A puzzle game originally released by Konami in 1982, the objective is to guide a locomotive by sliding the panels covered with tracks to pass through all the stations. There are two versions included of the game with different puzzles, one of which was released only in Japan, and a version that was released overseas.

Arcade Archives Gattan Gotton will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Dave the Diver just received its first content update on PC, and we have confirmation that when the game hits Switch later this month, everything that’s new will be available at launch.

This is the first big update for Dave the Diver since it’s version 1.0 debut. The game is adding a fresh questline, new event boss, novel species, and more.

A release date has just come in for Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery. On Switch, the release is launching on October 26, 2023.

The latest firmware update for Switch just released, and version 17.0.0 should begin to roll out for all system owners.
