With media outlets going hands-on with Nintendo Labo today, a bunch of new details and photos have emerged. Engadget in particular has a lengthy report on the game, including details about construction of the various projects and included mini-games/apps. Just when you think that the Wii U Virtual Console might be over, Konami surprises us with more games. Battle Chopper was one of the releases on this front, and some footage can be found below.

Filming is underway for the Detective Pikachu movie, but we’re still finding out about new cast members. Hollywood Reporter says today that Suki Waterhouse is joining the film. Details surrounding Waterhouse’s role are being kept under wraps.

Ryan Reynolds is leading the way on Detective Pikachu as the voice of the Pokemon. Other actors include Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, Bill Nighy, and Chris Geere.

GREE is known for its work in the mobile space and the many titles it has released on smart devices. But today, the company announced that it intends to release games on consoles. One such title is Fishing Star. It’s planned for release this year, and it sounds like it’ll be launching worldwide.

GREE came out with Fishing Star VR not too long ago, which we assume the Switch version is based on. Described as a casual fishing game, it allows players to visit a few different areas and compete with others through online play. It comes with a variety of fishing rods and bait, as well as over 100 kinds of fish.

Earlier today, Forever Entertainment kept up with its string of Switch titles by publishing Frederic 2: Evil Strikes Back on the eShop. Have a look at some footage below.

Atari recently announced plans for a new RollerCoaster Tycoon on Switch. However, there was some confusion with the project, as it was accompanied by a crowdfunding project on StartEngine.

Fred Chesnais, CEO of Atari Game Partners, confirmed to Polygon that RollerCoaster Tycoon is coming to Switch no matter what happens on StartEngine. He also said that a team has been contracted and a prototype has been built.

Nintendo World Report also clarifies in its reupload that the darker shade isn’t confirmed to be the game itself just yet as it could be due to the capture equipment.

Original: Nintendo World Report has put together a video comparing the original Bayonetta on Switch and Wii U. The game has a slightly darker tone on Switch, and also loads a bit faster. You can watch the full comparison below.

This week, a new update went live for Minecraft: New 3DS Edition. Some of the finer details are unclear, but it sounds like some new elements have been added like ocean monuments and fish-monsters.

Hellmut: The Badass from Hell is coming to Switch, publisher Grindstone and developer Volcanicc announced today. The roguelike dungeon crawler is hitting Switch subsequently following its Q1 2018 launch on PC.

The main hook of Hellmut is transformations. Different transformations can be unlocked in the game, allowing players to control monstrosities as the Rat King, the mighty spell-caster Orc Fairy, and more, each countering different enemies with own play style.
