The Quintessential Quintuplets: Memories of a Quintessential Summer first came to Japan in March 2021. Five Memories Spent With You then debuted in June 2022. As we start to wind down on the Switch era, an interesting tidbit has come to light regarding the mainline Pokemon games. Nintendo’s latest console is where the franchise has achieved the most success and highest sales.

Pokemon games have managed to sell over 96 million copies on Switch. Pokemon Sword and Shield are the current best-sellers at 26.27 million. However, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are right behind at 24.92 million. And speaking of Scarlet and Violet, they’re the fastest selling entry in the series and the third best-selling title overall.
