Publisher Soft Source Publishing have announced that they will be bringing Sacred Zodongga Defense to Switch this month, with the game due to release digitally via the eShop on July 13. The game is a 3D Tower Defense title, which will see the player defend their structures against enemies across over 100 levels, with multiple difficulty settings and unlockables available.

Action platformer Sword & Bones 2 releases on Switch eShop today, and publisher RedDeerGames have released a short gameplay trailer to give players a quick glimpse at what the game has to offer and an overview of its story.

Mario Kart Tour has revealed its latest event, with the Pipe Tour set to join the fray.

Piranha Pipe Pipeline will be featured as the latest course. Mountains, valleys, and pipes (naturally) are included.

Original: A verdict has been reached in Yuji Naka’s insider trading case, and the game developer – known for his previous work on Sonic the Hedgehog and more recently Balan Wonderworld – has been sentenced to prison, but he is unlikely to serve time.

The courts made a final judgement today. The big part of the story is that Naka has been given a prison sentence of two years and six months. However, sine he’ll be seeing a four-year suspension, that should allow him to avoid jailtime. He has also been given a couple of fines of two million and 170 million yen.

A couple of years after it was confirmed for Switch, OU now has a release date. Today, G-Mode and Room6 announced that it will be available on August 31, 2023.

OU was previously revealed for Switch in June 2021. It was originally planned for release that year, but a significant amount of extra development time was needed.

Nintendo isn’t slowing down with its promotional efforts for Pikmin 4, and just put out a new “Your First Expedition with Pikmin” trailer. The video is a guide of sorts that informs fans about the actual Pikmin, including the little buds, their specialties, and how they can work for you.

Original (6/29): Remedium: Sentinels, the grim time survival game with roguelite elements, has been confirmed for Switch. A release is planned for this summer.

Remedium: Sentinels has added several new weapons, enemies, bosses, maps, and more during its period in Early Access, along with HUD and interface improvements plus worldwide leaderboards. This will all be included in the Switch version as part of version 1.0.
