Fans have managed to uncover balance changes made with version 2.4.0 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The new patch included a number of aspects, including support for the Booster Course Pass Wave 5 DLC. However, Nintendo also indicated that stats were changed for some characters and vehicles.

The point-and-click adventure game Smile For Me just got a new update on Switch.
Included are some improvements, small additions, and fixes. The patch brings along quality of life features, with graphical updates and motion control improvements specifically for Switch players.
The western-inspired base builder Above Snakes has been confirmed for Switch thanks to a new announcement from publisher Crytivo and developer Square Glade Games. The project just recently came to PC, but it’s unclear when it’ll be on Nintendo’s console.
Above Snakes, which is set in a fictional world inspired by the American Wild West, features crafting systems, base building, and strategic gameplay. Players can craft the world around them tile by tile. The end goal is to unravel the secrets of a land consumed by mystery.

Super Rare Games announced today that Haiku the Robot will have a physical release on Switch for the first time.
The company will produce 4,000 boxed copies of the Metroidvania game. Each unit includes the title on a physical cartridge, bespoke new art, a reversible cover, a full-color manual, an exclusive sticker, trading cards, and a map of Arcadia.

Pikmin 4 is the next entry in the series that’s taken a decade to come to fruition. It features the same sort of strategy gameplay that started on the GameCube and continues on Wii U. You’ll again be growing, plucking, and guiding little creatures who can battle enemies as well. This time around, the Ice Pikmin are being introduced. Also new is the space dog Oatchi who can perform certain actions like carrying Pikmin and players can customize their look with a creator that was recently revealed.

Nintendo published a new list today that reveals the best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for the first half of 2023.
What came on top? That’d be The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, of course. Despite coming out in the middle of May, it took the top spot.

Hyper Three Studios is putting The Shape of Things on Switch next month, the company has announced. The title is slated for August 31, 2023.
The Shape of Things is a cozy puzzler with a relaxing atmosphere in which players look to solve 3D puzzles inside collectable gachapons by discovering the original shape of objects. The mechanics are inspired by the classic Rubik’s cube puzzler originally invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Erno Rubik.
