Since the early days of Anima: Gate of Memories’ existence, we’ve heard that the game would be released on Wii U. That’s why it was particularly strange that speculation started surfacing today that this might no longer be the case.
The rumors seem to have arisen from a couple of tweets published by BadLand Games, a Spanish distributor. BadLand essentially stated that there are no plans for a Wii U version at the moment. I’m not sure why this was said, but I can confirm that Anima: Gate of Memories is still on for Wii U. Creator Carlos GarcĂa confirmed to us that the team is still planning a Wii U version.
Amazon is the first retailer to be kicking off pre-orders for Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven. There’s a May 26 release date on the page, though that’s only tentative. XSEED has only confirmed a launch for spring at this time.
Update: Clarification – this only applies to Germany. The date is March 20 for Portugal, and sometime in April for France.
A pair of New 3DS Zelda face plates are coming to Europe next week. The ones above, first revealed for Japan earlier this month, are set to arrive in Europe on February 27.

Ubisoft announced that it would publish a game based on the television series Heroes back in 2007. A year later, the project was cancelled. Unseen64 now shares details about the development process and why the plug was pulled.
The third-person action/adventure Heroes game was planned for Wii and other platforms, with High Voltage Software handling development. It appears that a new female character would be featured – as shown in the concept art above. Regarding the Wii version, Unseen64 states: “A version for Nintendo Wii was also outlined, but production on it was never started.”
High Voltage terminated the Heroes game after it was determined that the studio didn’t have enough resources to create versions for all platforms. Ubisoft ended up scrapping all plans pertaining to Heroes around October 2008. This was in part due to a drop in ratings for the TV show.
Unseen64 has updated its beta article for The Wonderful 101. In it, we get to see a few things, including first designs for Wonder Red.
One design has a large blade placed on Wonder Red’s back, and he’s wearing a white helmet with a green visor. A second design features a machine gun under his right arm. He has less hair in this piece of art as well.
Yet another Twitter update has landed on the Japanese Xenoblade Chronicles X Twitter account. This time around, we get to hear a tiny bit more about equipment.
Director Koh Kojima says that equipping things is mostly the same as in the original Xenoblade Chronicles – head, torso, legs, and feet. However, there is now separate equipment for your left and right arms. Kojima ends his messages by saying there’s more reflected in cut-scenes compared to the first Xenoblade Chronicles, and that’s great for players.
