Another one of today’s Switch physical release announcements from Limited Run Games is G.I. Joe: The Wrath of Cobra. It will be available in 2025.

Physical announcement are often made after a game launches, but that isn’t the case here. We’re actually waiting to find out when G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra will be available at all – it’s not ready just yet, but it’ll likely end up on the eShop before the boxed edition.

Today, Limited Run Games announced that it’s planning a new physical release of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on Switch. It’ll be out later this summer.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was previously sold physically on Switch, but it was a bit of a disappointment for fans. A download was required to fully play the game. This time around, Limited Run Games is providing the full experience on the cartridge.

While Renaine was previously confirmed for Switch, Limited Run Games just confirmed plans to produce a physical release. Further details will follow down the road.

We’ve been waiting on Renaine to launch for a number of years now. The game was announced for Switch way back in 2018, but still hasn’t dropped. 

Fighting Force Collection is in development for Switch, Limited Run Games just revealed. A release is planned for 2025.

Fighting Force and Fighting Force II will both be included in the package. These titles were made by Core Design and first appeared in 1997 and 1999 respectively.

Here’s what’s been shared thus far:

Rain World, which was already available digitally on Switch, is now getting the physical treatment. Limited Run Games will be responsible for it.

Rain World initially came to the eShop way back in 2018 – though at the end of the year. For those curious about it, we have the following description:

Limited Run Games has announced that Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection III is planned for physical release in the west.

Boxed versions were previously sold for the Japanese launch. For the western editions, Limited Run Games is planning a collector’s edition. Additional details will follow in the future.

A physical release for Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster is in the works for Switch, Limited Run Games just announced.

There’ll be three different versions. Along with a standard copy, Limited Run will offer a Premium Edition and Master Edition. The Premium Edition contains a steelbook, premium art cards, and an original book of retrospective essays. The Master Edition has all of this plus a Moldy Crow paperweight, a thermal detonator stress ball, and a Death Star acrylic lamp.

Over Horizon X Steel Empire will be appearing on Switch, an eShop listing reveals. ININ Games will be launching it on July 18, 2024.

Over Horizon X Steel Empire is a collection containing three different games. More information is included in the following overview:

Starting today, Fae Farm players can access the game’s brand new Skies of Azoria expansion. Those on Switch can play through it at no extra cost.

The new update brings along three mystical regions of Skyvale, an all-new realm in the clouds. It features friends to meet, new romantic interests, and new mysteries to solve.

Here’s some additional information:

We have a sales update on Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and the release is confirmed to have sold over 20 million copies. The sales tidbit was just posted on social media.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy offers remakes of the series’ first three games. Activision originally published it in 2017, but it wouldn’t arrive on Switch until the following year.
