In Japan, Atlus is releasing free downloadable sub-personas for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. They should make their way west when the game lands in North America later this year.

First up, Kaguya from Persona 4: The Golden will be available next week. Kaguya is at level 16 and possesses a unique skill known as Moon’s Blessing. This stops one attack each turn and has a three turn duration.

On June 18, Orpheus Kai from Persona 3 will be available as well. Orpheus comes in at level 26 and can use Harp of Regeneration to recover HP and removes negative status effects for all allies each turn. This is also a three turn duration effect.

Much like they did with Shin Megami Tensei IV, Nintendo of Korea have announced that they will be localizing and publishing Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth some time in 2014. The Shin Megami Tensei series is one that has been localized to Korea for a number of years so while this isn’t entirely unexpected, it’s certainly good news for Persona fans in South Korea

Former Index CEO Masami Ochiai and former president Yoshimi Ochiai have both been arrested for fraud, Japanese outlet Nikkei is reporting. The two have both been charged with falsifying financial records and inflating profits during their time with the company.

When it was suspected of improper accounting last year, Index eventually filed for bankruptcy and was sold to SEGA Sammy.

Masami Ochiai is pleading his innocence for the time being, stating that he “did not do anything illegal” when asked about Nikkei’s coverage of the situation.
