Bandai Namco released an English trailer for the new Hero Colosseum mode added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 this week as part of the latest update. Check out the video below.

Bandai Namco has released the newest update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, highlighted by the addition of the free Hero Colosseum mode. Check out some footage below.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s 2 big new update is now available. Among other things, it adds the new figure-fighting Hero Coliseum mode. Watch the (Japanese) trailer below to get a feel for this new gameplay mode:

Bandai Namco has passed along more news about the Extra Pack 1 and free update planned for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

First, Extra Pack 1 will feature the new fighters Tapion, Android 13, Dabura and Buu (Gohan absorbed) as playable characters. Zamasu as an instructor, four new costumes, five parallel quests, 13 new skills, and more will also be included.

Original: Pokken Tournament DX’s big update is here. Nintendo and Bandai Namco have pushed the latest patch to all players.

Today’s update adds a number of new features. These include Team Battles with friends online, official groups in Group Match, the ability to record Pokemon movements in Practice Mode’s Free Training, and more. We’ll add in the full patch notes when Nintendo shares them.

We previously reported on the upcoming patch for Pokken Tournament DX, which will add a variety of new features, most importantly online team battles. We now have a more concrete date on when the patch will be available: “mid-November”. Since it’s already the 10th, we should be getting that patch fairly soon, perhaps even next week.

Like most companies as of late, Bandai Namco has reported its latest financial results. The company provided an update on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s sales as part of that.

By September 30, the game has shipped 300,000 copies on Switch worldwide. Bandai Namco says that number has increased to 400,000 units overall.

Recently we’ve heard several reports of developers who were surprised at the success of the Switch, which is why we haven’t seen a whole lot of third-party support for the system so far. However, it seems like that attitude is now slowly but surely changing, thanks to the system’s continuously strong sales.

Bandai Namco’s president Mitsuaki Taguchi said the following about his company’s experience with the Switch so far:

It’s been a couple of months since launch, but Nintendo has just now published an accolades trailer for Pokken Tournament DX. View it below.

We now have a trailer showing off the Switch version of One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 in all its glory. You can check out the Japanese trailer below to give it a look. However, if you ever plan on watching One Piece I’d say don’t watch this as it has heavy spoilers for that show.
