Capcom has announced on its official Twitter that new information regarding Monster Hunter Rise will be shared via livestream on January 7. This follows a video announcement last week regarding new information on the title being released this month.

The livestream will be available on the official Monster Hunter Twitch channel, which can be accessed here.

Additionally, a demo for the game is planned to release sometime this month.

Street Fighter Alpha 2 - Shin Akuma

After 25 years, it’s been discovered that Shin Akuma can be unlocked in Street Fighter Alpha 2.

Gizaha, a modder, was looking to reverse engineer the game’s code in hopes of improving performance. In doing so, he came across a series of steps that lets players access Shin Akuma. While the character appeared as a secret boss character, it wasn’t until recently that the unlock method was made known.

2021 is looking like a big year for Monster Hunter. Along with Monster Hunter Rise, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin are heading to Switch.

Monster Hunter developers Ryozo Tsujimoto and Yasunori Ichinose recently shared a brief video message on social media. It’s now confirmed that more information about Monster Hunter Rise will be shared in January, which makes sense given that a demo will be released during the month and the game isn’t terribly far away.

Monster Hunter Rise is three months away until release, and Capcom is now prepping for the launch with a couple of Japanese commercials. We have both below.

Since Monster Hunter Rise was announced, many fans have been wondering about the game’s music. Capcom has now revealed that Satoshi Hori is the main composer.

Hori has been with Capcom for a few years, but his most recent and notable project was Resident Evil 7.

As one interesting note, we’ve also learned today that Capcom will be adding chorus to all songs even existing monster songs.

First 4 Figures has revealed its latest statue and next addition to its Okami line. The company latest product is based on Okamiden: Chibiterasu vs. Dark Chibiterasu & Possessed Kuni.

Like previous First 4 Figures statues, it’ll come in standard and exclusive versions. The exclusive edition has certain parts that light up.

Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection was announced at The Game Awards 2020 last week, and quite a bit of new footage was shown off during the latest episode of Capcom TV. We have the full segment below.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy

As part of the latest Capcom leaks, sales data for Okami HD was disclosed. Figures for each platform were revealed, which showed that the Switch version sold the best.
