CyberConnect2

Fuga Melodies of Steel DLC

CyberConnect2 announced today that it will release three paid costume DLC packs for Fuga: Melodies of Steel.

The first round of DLC, known as the School Costume Pack, drops on January 20. As the name implies, the 12 Taranis tykes are all suited up for school – specifically Malt, Mei, Hanna, Kyle, Boron, Socks, Chick, Hack, Sheena, Jin, Wappa, and Britz. DLC can be used during Intermission and Expedition.

Here’s a trailer introducing the first DLC:

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Card Warriors

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set made it to Switch a few months ago, but it was missing a notable feature in the form of Card Warriors. This had previously landed on other platforms in 2020 and was intended to be made available on Nintendo’s console as part of a free update this fall. Unfortunately, that’s no longer happening.

Bandai Namco confirmed not too long ago that Card Warriors has been delayed on Switch “due to an adjustment of the development schedule.” A new release window was not provided.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode is in development for Switch, Bandai Namco and CyberConnect confirmed today.

A Switch version of the game was rated by the ESRB at the very start of August. However, today is the first time that Bandai Namco has made the news official.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set Switch review

System: Switch
Release date: September 24, 2021
Developer: CyberConnect2
Publisher: Bandai Namco

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot again has Goku and co.’s adventures and sagas represented, but this time in a much different format that hasn’t felt this fresh and exciting in a long while. Having put almost 100 hours when it initially released at the beginning of 2020, the semi open-world take felt like a modern day Legacy of Goku mixed with the design philosophy of One Piece: World Seeker, but done so in a way that still retained the essence of the IP and left no shortage of fights for the player to enjoy and reach higher power levels with. The Switch version undoubtedly sees a few technical downgrades compared to other platforms, and it was a bit jarring at first, but after having settled with the game for quite some time now, it’s arguably Bandai Namco’s most competent Dragon Ball port yet, making for a really great DBZ experience that can now be played at home or on the go.
