Doom Anthology

There’s more news to share about Doom today with Bethesda unveiling Doom Anthology. A release date has not yet been provided.

Doom Anthology contains Doom (1993), Doom II, Doom 64, Doom 3, Doom (2016), and Doom Eternal Deluxe Edition. Just keep in mind that downloads are required. Outside of the games, you’ll get an exclusive steelbook and a 5-inch replica BFG with LED lights and stand.

Limited Run Games has announced that it has teamed up with Bethesda to produce physical versions for Doom 64 on Switch.

Aside from a standard copy, fans will be able to purchase a Classic Edition. The latter version includes goodies like a commemorative N64 cart and double-sided poster.

Pre-orders open on September 25 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. You’ll be able to reserve a copy on Limited Run Games’ website.

For the re-release of Doom 64 on modern platforms, a brand new level has been included that ties into Doom Eternal. In a video today, GameSpot shared some of the first footage from the stage. Check out the gameplay below.

The upcoming re-release of Doom 64 appears to be more than just a simple port. As one of the big highlights, a new chapter will be included.
