Tomonobu Itagaki and Valhalla Studios have revealed that Devil’s Third is coming to Wii U.

We haven’t covered much about Devil’s Third here, but the project has been in development for many, many years. Devil’s Third was originally going to be published by THQ.

Itagaki made the announcement during an IGN live stream show currently ongoing.

Nintendo closed out its E3 2014 Digital Event today with another new Super Smash Bros. character reveal. As many have speculated, Palutena from Kid Icarus will be included in the game.


Nintendo has announced a new IP for Wii U titled “Splatoon”.

Here’s what we know:

– 8 player 4 on 4 online multiplayer action game
– All about controlling territory
– Splatter map with ink, whoever has most territories win
– Characters are squids and have a wider range of actions as a result
– Can swim really fast in your own ink, your feet get stuck in enemy ink
– An overhead view of the entire map is available on the gamepad to see what ink is being splattered where in real time
– Allies can use your ink but enemies are able to disrupt paths – can be used defensively or offensively
– Mechanics are focused on players finding strategies rather than just running and gunning – plenty of options

Splatoon will launch in 2015.

X has a final name and release window. It’s now known as “Xenoblade Chronicles X” and will launch next year – not this year. A new trailer is shown that we’ll post soon.

Nintendo revealed the latest entry in the Kirby franchise today called “Kirby and the Rainbow Curse”. We’ll put up the trailer soon.


Nintendo has confirmed a North American release date for Hyrule Warriors. It will be available on September 26.

Bayonetta 2 is coming to Wii U in October, Nintendo and Platinum announced today. The original Bayonetta will be included in the package. Additionally, the games feature Nintendo costumes such as Link and Samus.

Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire are launching on November 21, Nintendo has confirmed. A new trailer was shown, which we’ll post here shortly.
