Update (5/13): Now available for pre-order on Amazon Canada.

Update (5/10): Now available for pre-order on Amazon, comes with a 20 percent discount for Prime members.

Original (5/7): Minecraft: Wii U Edition launched on the Wii U eShop at the end of last year. However, a physical version is coming soon. Best Buy and GameStop have now opened pre-orders.

Based on GameStop’s listing – as well as one from GameFly – Nintendo will be publishing Minecraft: Wii U Edition at retail. In one way that makes sense, as Sony and Microsoft published the game on their respective platforms. It’ll cost $29.99 – just like the eShop version.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Update (5/10): This offer is now valid on GameStop’s website here. The listing says that some packs have the special Jet Mode transformation card. They do not interact with the game.

Original (4/26): We’ve been hearing rumblings of a Kirby: Planet Robobot pre-order bonus at GameStop, but a photo has now surfaced confirming the free gift. Those who reserve the game will receive a pack of 6 collectible trading cards – see the packaging above. The offer should be valid in-store, but we haven’t seen it reflected online just yet.

It’s unclear what Nintendo has planned for Kirby: Planet Robobot trading cards. Will more packs be available? Or is this just a simple pre-order bonus?

Update (5/6): Bumped to the top. GameStop now lists a July 31 release date for the controller. Additionally, the page says there are “limited quantities”.

Original (5/3): We reported yesterday that the Pikachu version of the Pokken Tournament controller would be heading to North America. GameStop has now followed up by opening online pre-orders here. Given the “Only at GameStop” label, this appears to be a retailer exclusive.

There’s also the May 7 release date that we previously mentioned. I’m still not convinced that the controller is coming out this week, but I suppose stranger things have happened!

Thanks to Corey A for the tip.

GameStop has started taking pre-orders for the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Special Edition. Place an order here. Pre-orders aren’t up on Amazon yet, but we’ll let you know when they are.

Update: Isabelle amiibo pre-orders are open: Summer Outfit and Winter Outfit.

The Kirby series amiibo can now be pre-ordered both in-store and online at GameStop. If you’re going with the latter option, do so here. Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Waddle Dee are all up.

U.S. retailers like Best Buy have already opened up pre-orders for Nintendo’s upcoming amiibo, and GameStop will be next out of the gate tomorrow. You’ll be able to reserve the new Kirby series as well as Isabelle in her winter and summer outfits. We’ll put up a separate post when live.

The Bravely Second Collector’s Edition is available again for purchase at GameStop. You can get an order in here. If it sells out, we’ll update this post.

A pair of 3DS games have been discounted on GameStop. Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. can be had for just $10 while the Chibi-Robo: Zip-Lash amiibo bundle is down to $20. Both are pretty fair prices, I’d say!

Thanks to Jake for the tip.
