Fans have been waiting a long time for SteamWorld Heist, but by all accounts, the game should still be releasing this year. Nothing is set yet, but Image & Form hopes to have the game done in a couple of months. CEO Brjann Sigurgeirsson told Gamer Professionals, “Our goal is to aim for a release in early December… but I won’t make promises.”

That window should mainly apply to the 3DS eShop. A Wii U version is planned as well, but the game will only be out on Nintendo’s handheld at launch.

Thanks to a playable demo at Firstlook 2015 in the Netherlands today, we’ve learned that Dark Day L.A. will be releasing on the Wii U eShop. The game, which previously came to mobile, is a 1 vs. 1 multiplayer experience. One person assumes the role of the vampire, who needs to bite five people. The other player controls a helicopter and tries to shoot him down.

Here’s the game’s mobile trailer:

Another title playable at Fistlook 2015 is the indie puzzler Circles. It’s not confirmed for Wii U at the moment, but the demo actually used the Wii Remote. The developer has also said that an eShop version is possible.

Human Resource Machine is seeing a slight delay on Wii U. The title was originally on track for October 15, but it’s now been “delayed a week or so”.

Tomorrow Corporation wrote in an official site post:

“But looks like our North American Wii U version will be delayed a week or so – we’ll post an updated date here as soon as we get it. It’s totally our fault for submitting a little late, we just tried to fill the Nintendo version with too many mushrooms!”

We recently interviewed Tomorrow Corporation about Human Resource Machine. To read it in full, head on over here.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch was initially planned to launch on the Wii U eShop this past summer. Fall has arrived, so clearly that target has passed.

So what’s with the delay? Young Horses president Phil Tibitoski has said that the team “ran into some unforeseen issues in certification”, which “took a while to fix.” A final release date should be announced “soon”.
