Clockwork Aquario delayed to 2021, latest details and screenshots

Strictly Limited Games and ININ Games have provided an update on Clockwork Aquario, a project that was originally thought to have been lost after it was originally being developed nearly three decades ago. The original plan was to have it ready this year, but it’s been pushed back to “the beginning of 2021” instead.

ININ Games, Factor 5, and Strictly Limited Games today announced the return of Turrican, a Metroid-esque platforming series. There will be two collections released on Switch, with each anthology containing five classic games.

Space Invaders Forever announced for Switch

ININ Games and Taito today announced Space Invaders Forever. The collection, which features Space Invaders Extreme, Space Invaders Gigamax 4 SE, and Arkanoid vs. Space Invaders, is coming to Switch in 2020.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends getting Switch update this fall

Taito has dated its major update for the Switch version of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends. It will be going live this fall, the company confirmed today.
Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be adding plenty of content, bringing along a new area and 100 new stages. Online rankings will be added as well.

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World was revealed for Switch earlier this week. Following an announcement for Japan today, more details have surfaced – including confirmation that it’s a remake of Monster World IV.

CrossCode physical release delayed

CrossCode’s physical release has been delayed and will no longer arrive on August 28 as previously scheduled.
In Europe, the boxed version of CrossCode is now planned for September 15. North America will be getting it a month later on October 20.

Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! bumped back a month in North America

Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! won’t be making its originally-scheduled September 29 release in North America. It’ll now arrive both physically and digitally on October 30, ININ Games announced today.
Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! is already available in Japan. The European release is also still on track for September 29.

Publisher ININ Games and developer Studio Artdink have announced Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World, a new entry in the long-running franchise. Members of the original team are on board, including series creator Ryuichi Nishizawa as director, original composer Shinichi Sakamoto who’s leading the way on the game’s sounds, character designer Maki Ozora, and creative manager Takanori Kurihara.

Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! won’t be launching in the west this month as originally expected. ININ Games announced the delay today, stating that the extra time “will allow players to benefit from an improved worldwide multiplayer infrastructure, ensuring fast and stable online fights.” The team “also took the time to add languages, to provide for a great game experience.”
