Etrian Odyssey V was announced way back in November 2014. Aside from a teaser trailer, Atlus shared relatively little about the project.

Atlus’ Shigeo Komori finally provided an update (although brief) about Etrian Odyssey V in this week’s Famitsu. He said that development is in the final stages, and information will come “a bit later after the cold weather has warmed”. In other words, expect to hear news around spring or so.

We actually don’t even have a platform for Etrian Odyssey V. But given the series’ history, it’ll likely be on a Nintendo platform.

A lengthy gameplay video has come in for the recently-released Japanese title Monster Strike. Watch 27 minutes of footage below.

This week’s Japanese sales numbers include two big milestones for Nintendo. One is all about hardware, and another applies to one specific game.

First, 3DS has sold over 20 million units in Japan. It’s also important to mention that Splatoon has now sold over 1 million copies in the territory. The game likely already reached that number with digital copies included, though Famitsu’s data officially confirms the figure with physical units. It’s a nice way for Nintendo to close out the year!

A couple of videos were uploaded last night for SEGA 3D Reprint Archives 2. Below, you can watch promos for both 3D Puyo Puyo Tsu and 3D Fantasy Zone II W.
