With the recent completion of the Gamescom conference in Germany, Amazon revealed that Nintendo’s Wii U had the biggest increase in pre-orders.

Leading the pack is the upcoming Hyrule Warriors, releasing for North America, Europe, and Australia this September, with a 11.77% increase.

Other titles increases as follows;

1. Project CARS – 42.3 per cent increase
2. Rise of the Tomb Raider – 30.25 per cent increase
3. Bloodborne – 16.08 per cent increase
4. Hyrule Warriors – 11.77 per cent increase
5. Quantum Break – 10.77 per cent increase
6. Far Cry 4 – 9.53 per cent increase
7. Assassin’s Creed Unity – 9.44 per cent increase
8. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor – 9.03 per cent increase
9. Battlefield: Hardline – 8.81 per cent increase
10. Super Smash Bros for 3DS – 7.56 per cent increase

A few days ago, news started to emerge about the retailer-exclusive pre-order bonuses for Hyrule Warriors. GameStop is offering the Ocarina of Time Costume Pack while Amazon has the Twilight Princess DLC.

We now have confirmation about the final Costume Pack for Hyrule Warriors. Best Buy is selling the Skyward Sword DLC with pre-orders, as confirmed on the retailer’s product page. You can place an order here.

We’ll also mention quickly that the Amazon US page has now been updated with news about the Twilight Princess costumes. It was previously listed on the Canadian website only.

During this week’s Hyrule Warriors Direct, Nintendo announced that retailers would be offering exclusive costume DLC. We now have a little bit of news about which stores are offering the different pre-order bonuses.

First, the Ocarina of Time Costume Pack is confirmed for GameStop. This includes Ocarina of Time themed costumes for Link and Zelda.

Based on a listing on Amazon Canada, the retailer seems to be offering the Twilight Princess Pack in North America. The same rule applies here: you’ll receive Twilight Princess themed costumes for Link and Zelda.

My guess would be that Best Buy will have the final Skyward Sword Pack DLC.
